There are a lot of great websites devoted to raising awareness about cults. Here is a sample of websites about Jehovah’s Witnesses.

  • JW Podcast: Have you listened to the latest Jehovah’s Witness podcast show that takes a look at the real issues with the Watchtower Society? Visit the official JW Podcast Show website and listen to all the shows.
  • Jehovah’s Witness Blog: JWB gives a true and humorous reflection of what it really means to be a Jehovah’s Witness.
  • JW Survey: Former Elder Lloyd Evans’ infamous blog features news and analysis of current developments in the organization. It is frequented by both active and former JW.
  • Watchtower Documents: Barbara Anderson is an insider who used to work for Watchtower. Her website is an extensive resource for everybody trying to find out more about JW.org.
  • Avoid JW: A great site dedicated to analyzing Watchtower literature and debunking Jehovah’s Witnesses doctrine
  • Open Letters for the Governing Body: A fine resource of stories, disassociation letters, and comments of XJW survivors, links to XJW websites and shameful news articles re: JWs and the WTS.
  • AAWA: Advocates for Awareness of Watchtower Abuses has been formed to help enable the media, educators, social services, legal professionals, doctors, nurses, mental health counselors and the general public to make informed decisions about Watchtower policies, which violate the fundamental human rights of Jehovah’s Witnesses, children of Jehovah’s Witnesses and ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses.
  • Brenda Lee’s Out of the Cocoon: Author of the Jehovah’s Witness Memoir of the same name and counter-cult activist offering seminars entitled Understanding Cults: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Family. Editor of an internationally renowned newsletter about Cults.
  • JW Struggle: This site was setup to help visitors wake up to “The Truth About The Truth” and cope with what that really means.
  • Jehovah’s Witness Forum: The biggest forum for Jehovah’s Witnesses (ex and active) on the internet. International users.
  • Silent Lambs: “We wish to provide assistance to victims who have been molested as children and silenced from speaking out or seeking proper assistance as directed by religious authority.”
  • /r/exjw: A subreddit for former Jehovah’s Witnesses
  • X-J-W: Resources to help you find the truth about the truth
  • JW Freedom Movement aim to assist you in breaking free from the Watchtower
  • Jehovah’s Trumpet: a satirical website which is juuuuust a tad to real to be true. But close enough. Seriously: Close enough.
  • Jehovah’s Witness Report: Regular news from the JW world
  • 4Jehovah: Very interesting FAQ section that has a Christian approach to being a former Jehovah’s Witness. Great for research.
  • Armageddon Museum: Bloopers and Deformities from the materials and lectures of leaders in the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society
  • The Jehovah’s Witnesses: A website for both active and former Jehovah’s Witnesses to express themselves
